So I recently came across a Lovecraft apologist bingo card. I was quite amused by the accuracy of the various arguments that people (myself included on occasion) draw on to deal with the cognitive dissonance engendered by the whole Weird Tales community.

I’ve mentioned my angst about the “fruit of a poison tree” problem and I haven’t reached a workable resolution….still it was nice to see how my own attempts to deal with this problem lined up. Notably (thankfully?) I did not get a bingo.
